Based in Lander, Wyoming with programs in various locations including Patagonia Branch in Chile, Kenya Branch. Yukon Branch, Pacific Northwest Branch, Teton Valley Branch and running courses in Australia and India

History

 

Founded in the 1965 by Paul Petzoldt who thought there needed to be a school to train outdoor leaders and educators. NOLS has grown from its original 100 male students to over 3,100 students year now.
