Mission
|
Shackleton Schools, Inc. is a new, innovative, college-preparatory, residential high school designed to inspire and educate students who have struggled in traditional schools, but who possess unique strengths and potential. Shackleton's program integrates rigorous academics, service opportunities, and Learning Expeditions, which take students and educators into communities, businesses, cultures, and wilderness areas of North America. The school's theme, "One Leader at a Time," represents Shackleton's commitment to challenging students to look beyond their perceived limits to discover and cultivate a greater respect for themselves, a deeper appreciation of their community, and a generous heart for service. |
