Road Scholars and the Community of Experiential Education

Road Scholars is just one of a growing movement of experiential learning programs. While each program's mission may be a little different, they all contribute to a community of educators and learning opportunities for people of many ages.

From this page you can explore a variety of different types of programs. You might be looking for a summer job, or a place to send your parents, your little sister or yourself. While this list is by no means comprehensive, it should at least give you a taste of what's out there and how Road Scholars fits into the community of experiential learning programs. You'll also find, at the bottom, some links to resource pages which might be helpful to you.

From each program name you'll link to a page which will give you an overview of each program, its mission, location, target population, and any other details which might prove helpful. If they have a web site, you'll find the link there, too.

There's a whole world to explore...seems like lots of folks are looking to do just that! Enjoy...
