Nature Writing
April 1, 2000
Participants: Heather McConnell, Damian Cunniff, Kevin Cubberly, Patricia Carroll, Jasper the Wonderdog

It was a gorgeous spring day in Harriman State Park. We hiked four miles and at the midpoint, on top of a glacial ridge with views of hills all around us, we stopped to write, nap, talk, and picnic (Jasper found other less savory pursuits). Even though none of us ended up writing much, it was a great day to stretch our legs and usher in spring.
