New England Writers II

man! that's fantastic! i knew as we were watching it, that there was something really special going on on stage. its wacked to read the performer's reaction to the night tho. I can't believe that he had some crazy, other-worldly experiences before and during the set, while we were there! i remember looking often at the box seats that were on our side of the theater, studying them, admiring the architecture, wondering what the stage would look like from them and who might have sat there (dead presidents). but i know for sure that no one was in the ones on our side - did you get to check out yours, the one where he saw the little girl? Oh man, that's fantastic! so he heard his name being called to him downstairs, twice, and then made a connection with a mysterious little girl in the balcony; also, weird technical happenings that were unexpected. i thought that they handled those happenings so gracefully. i think that their level of communication with the audience made it easier for them to deal with stage mistakes (or whatever they were). they had the audience laughing during their stories as well as during their songs. fantastic!
