A fine game of Pooh Sticks

Every other year, thousands of poets and poetry enthusiasts gather at Waterloo Village in New Jersey for the Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry festival. This time around we were among the groups of people who got to hear national poet laureates like Stanley Kunitz and local open poetry night heroes give readings of their works. We enjoyed hearing poetry and stories from professional storyteller Dovie Thomason.

There was also plenty of time for exploring abandoned buildings, climbing trees, writing poetry, climbing trees, and playing Pooh Sticks.
